This is the Sakimaru Takohiki knife.
It is made of Japanese swords (Samurai Katana) technique for a long time, then it feature tough and sharpness.
Takohiki is used as a sashimi knife. It is characterized by its rounded tip and the straight edge.The knife has a layer of metal and steel that makes it look beautiful.
The sharpness is also better than that of a blue steel knife because of the layered edges, and the overall hardness of the steel makes it even sharper.
The size is the length from the tip of the blade to the gusset (to the gap between the handle and the knife), not the length of the blade.
